I graduated from Chestnut Hill College and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (now Salus University). Before moving to the Washington area, I served three years in the Navy stationed at Orlando Naval Hospital where I was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal.
It has been my ongoing privilege, responsibility, and joy to serve my patients and address their eye health and visual needs. I want to be your small-town practitioner – knowing you and your visual needs - but in a big city practice with modern, technological advantages.
For over fifteen years, when my office hours are over I have worked as the administrator of our local Vision Source network of twenty-five professional, private practices– helping to advance the profession.
I am thankful for my husband (who teaches at Webb Institute on Long Island, NY) and my son (an active duty Naval officer and submariner) who balance my life.
I enjoy reading (and will always ask what you are reading and what you recommend) and am active in my church in Calvert County, Maryland.
